Our company

Founded in 2015, xSeriCon is an independent process safety consultancy with a reputation for high quality products, services, and software, efficiently delivered.

Our staff are based in Taiwan. We serve clients throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania.

Managing Director

Dr. Peter Clarke

Dr Peter Clarke worked in biotech R&D for 5 years before spending 3 years in the UK fine chemicals and pharmaceutical industry in process and safety management roles.
He subsequently moved into safety consultancy, where he has 17 years of experience in process risk management in the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy and semiconductor industries. He has directed a considerable number of HAZOP, CHAZOP, SIL assessment, LOPA and alarm management studies, in addition to Functional Safety Assessment, Safety Case, Fault Tree, ALARP and HAZID. He is a frequent conference speaker and leads training workshops.

Senior Consultant

Tim Hsiao

Tim Hsiao is a dedicated process risk specialist with over 6 years of experience in the gas and semiconductor industries. He has led numerous process hazard analysis (PHA) studies, such as HAZOP, LOPA, FTA and procedure HAZOP. He is also well-versed in key elements of process safety management, including management of change, Pre-Startup Review, incident investigation and audit activities. In addition, he is an enthusiastic advocate for process risk management and the critical safeguard concept, having delivered in-house technical training to over 100 participants annually.

Tim is responsible for executing PHA projects, developing and delivering PHA training programs, and providing expert support to clients.

Marketing Executive

Kotwi Liu

Kotwi Liu is a marketing strategist with a background in MarCom for high-end premium brands, startups, and technical industries.

Kotwi worked in both agency and in-house roles, focusing on digital marketing, branding, and communications. With over 5 years of experience, he specializes in connecting complex solutions with the right audiences through clear messaging and strategic outreach.

Kotwi is currently leading the marketing efforts for xSeriCon, supporting broader initiatives in safety consulting and software innovation.

Software Developer

Paul Bryan Co

Paul Bryan Co is a certified software developer with extensive expertise in full-stack development and game development.

Paul has worked as a Game Developer and Web Developer Intern at Monstronauts Inc. before moving into roles as a Full-Stack Developer at Hackazouk Inc. With over 3 years of professional experience, he specializes in creating robust and innovative solutions in various industries, including software development and gaming.

Paul is focusing on launching Vizop, xSeriCon’s upcoming app for PHA (including HAZOP and CHAZOP) and alarm rationalization.
