The Alarm Management Life Cycle<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A defined process for designing, rationalizing, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the alarm system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Roles and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clear ownership is essential. systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local PLCs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Control networks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Package equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other systems generating alarms that may require operator attention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having a comprehensive and controlled alarm database provides a single reference point for managing the alarm system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 \u2014 Rationalize the Alarms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next step is&nbsp;<strong>Alarm Rationalization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
